Professor Xavier is a big, gentle, shy tabby cat with a calm presence and the softest stare. Born in the Hot Springs bathhouse district around December 2023, he was sometimes cared for by a kind couple who fed him at their back door after he’d jump their fence to visit. Near Christmas 2025, he was found badly injured with a broken pelvis, which required surgery and lots of rest to heal.

Thanks to that care, Professor Xavier has made a full recovery and is back to his sweet self. He may hang back at first, but once he feels safe, his loving personality starts to shine. He’s beautifully striped, wonderfully mellow, and has the kind of quiet presence that makes a home feel warmer.
